NCEA members who will represent NCEA at the Fall and Spring ECOEA and OEA Rep Assemblies were determined last week. The initial call for self-nomination by Vice-President Nick Plazak did not garner enough names to fill our six slots in an election, so those members who did self-nominate were elected by acclamation. The remaining slots were filled by appointment when a second call for volunteers was made by President Skip Baran. Our six reps are Dan Campanaro-HHS, Eileen Nielsen-NCMS, Jim York-NCMS, Gary Bodenschatz-HHS, President Skip Baran-HHS, and Val Heban-NCMS. Any NCMS member may attend the Rep Assemblies at district, state, or national level as an observer. Only Reps have voting privileges. Consider attending a Rep Assembly to see democracy in action!
